Bush Hog has announced a recall of their Off-Road Utility Vehicles, the TH4400 Trail Hand and the 4430 4X4, after receiving reports of frozen throttle cables that can prevent the engine from returning to idle speed when drivers takes their foot off of the gas pedal. No injuries so far have been reported from anybody using the Bush Hog, unlike the injuries reported from those who have used the Yamaha Rhino off-road vehicle.
Off-Road Utility Vehicle Description:
Bush Hog is printed on the cargo bed tail gate and each side of the cargo bed. The hood color is in red, green or mossy oak. Recalled Bush Hog RUVs were sold at Bush Hog dealerships between April 2008 and December 2008.
About 850 Bush Hog utility vehicles are affected by this recall.
