Pedestrian killed in Oklahoma City crosswalk

A 69-year-old woman was killed, and another person was not seriously injured when a SUV hit two pedestrians Monday, September 13 in Northwest OKC.

A Nissan was heading West on NW 23rd at N Pennsylvania Avenue when it hit two people crossing 23rd St. The intersection includes a 7-Eleven, Raising Cane’s, McDonald’s, and EZPawn. The neighborhood is close to Oklahoma City University and Shepherd Historic District. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators are still looking into the details. The driver is cooperating.
