Phoenix 200 All-Terrain Vehicles ATVs Recalled by Polaris Due to Crash Hazard– About 13,000 sold

In September 2021, Polaris recalled the Phoenix 200 All-Terrain ATVs, all model years 2011 through 2021. They were sold in red, blue or gray. “Polaris” is decaled on the front body and the sides of the ATV seats and “Phoenix 200” is decaled on the side panels. The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is located on the vehicle’s front left frame.

About 13,000 of these ATVs were sold at Polaris dealers nationwide from September 2010 through June 2021 for between $3,500 and $4,300. The firm has received 18 reports of throttle stop breaking or sticking, including one report of a crash which resulted in a minor injury.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and contact Polaris to receive a free replacement throttle speed control bracket. Polaris is notifying dealers and contacting registered owners directly.

Joovy Recalls Zoom 360 Ultralight Jogging Strollers Due to Fall Hazard – About 9,200 units sold

On October 7, 2021 Joovy recalled the Zoom 360 Jogging Strollers. This recall involves Zoom 360 Ultralight jogging strollers with SKU 8060, 8061, 8067 and 8069 and a batch number between March 2020 (03-XX-20) and October 2020 (10-XX-20). The strollers were sold in black, blueberry, charcoal and red colors and weigh about 26 lbs. The stroller label on the inside leg contains the SKU and batch numbers. “Joovy” is written across the front of the stroller and “Zoom Ultralight” is written on the parent organizer attachment on the bottom of the stroller.

There have been 25 incidents of restricted front wheel movement reported, including 12 incidents where the wheel fork bearing wore through the housing and detached, with one fall resulting in bruises when the user fell onto the stroller.

These strollers were sold at independent specialty juvenile stores nationwide and online at Joovy.com, Amazon.com, BuyBuyBaby.com and Target.com from May 2020 through December 2020 for about $250.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled strollers and contact the firm for a free repair kit to replace the front wheel fork bearing. Joovy is contacting all known purchasers directly.
