Home Depot Recalls Wood Windsor Dining Chair Sets Due to Fall Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves the StyleWell Wood Windsor Dining Chair sets.  The sets of two chairs were sold in black, natural wood, red and white and have eight vertical backrest spindles.  The chair seat base measures about 17.5 inches wide, 17.5 inches deep and 17 inches tall.  The chair’s back measures about 19 inches wide and 18 inches tall from the top of the chair seat base.  Each chair weighs about 15 pounds.  Only chairs without screw holes and wood screws on the rear underside of the chair seat base are included in this recall.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chairs and inspect the chairs for missing screw holes and wood screws on the underside of the chair seat base.  Home Depot is contacting all purchasers directly to provide inspection instructions.

Home Depot has received 17 reports of the chair’s back detaching from the chair base.  No injuries have been reported.

Online at www.homedepot.com from September 2019 through January 2021 for about $150 (set of two).

Urban Outfitter’s Margo Taper Candle Holders – Over 2,500 sold

This recall involves Urban Outfitter’s Margo Taper Candle Holders.  The geometric-shaped holders are made of pine or acacia wood and were sold in small, medium and large sizes. 

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled candle holders and return them to any Urban Outfitters store for a full refund.  Customers can also contact Urban Outfitters to receive a prepaid return label to return the candle holders by mail.  Urban Outfitters is contacting online purchasers by email. 

The candle holders were exclusively at Urban Outfitters stores nationwide and online at www.urbanoutfitters.com from August 2020 through November 2020 for between $18 and $30.

The firm has received one report of the candle holder catching fire.  No injuries have been reported.

Recall number: 21-087. Recall date: February 24, 2021. Units: about 2,700.

Northern Tool & Equipment Recalls Powerhorse Portable Generators Due to Shock Hazard

This recall involves Northern Tool & Equipment Powerhorse 13000ES Portable Generator Model #799215.  The gasoline generator is blue with white Powerhorse logos, a black frame and two wheels.  Powerhorse 13000ES is printed in white on the top front.  Serial numbers for the recalled generators are listed in the chart below. 

Approximately 3,640 units have been sold. The generators were sold at Northern Tool & Equipment stores nationwide and online at www.northerntool.com from July 2016 through September 2020 for about $1,850.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled generators and contact Northern Tool & Equipment to schedule a free repair by an authorized dealer.
