The largest result on this page is $15.5 million for a young child who suffered a brain injury after getting tangled in a defective window blind cord. Carr & Carr settlements and verdicts below are grouped by case type, so you can find cases like yours. Every case is different. Past results do not predict or promise the outcome of any future case.
Which Truck Crash Cases Has Carr & Carr Resolved?
Truck crashes make up half of the results on this page. Commercial trucks carry larger insurance policies than most cars, and the trucking company often has its own records that can prove fault, so these cases tend to involve more evidence and more money.
In each truck case, we ask the carrier to preserve the driver's logbook data, maintenance files, and dash camera footage, then compare them to federal trucking safety rules.

What Wrongful Death Results Has the Firm Recovered?
Three results on this page came from families who lost someone to an impaired driver, or to a bar that kept serving one. Two involved drivers who were on the job when they caused the crash, which can make the employer answerable for the harm as well.
The last result is a dram shop claim. Oklahoma courts allow a claim against a bar or restaurant that keeps serving alcohol to a customer who is noticeably drunk, when that customer then hurts someone on the road. See our wrongful death page for more.
What Defective Product Cases Has Carr & Carr Won?
Product cases often involve children and household items people trust every day. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has long warned that corded window coverings can strangle young children, which is the hazard at the center of our largest result.

What Car Crash Results Has the Firm Recovered?
Not every serious case starts with a wrecked car. One of our results came from a rear-end crash with minor vehicle damage, where the client later developed Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a chronic pain condition that can follow an injury and last for years.
You can find more car accident case results and details about how we handle these claims on our car accident page.
What Do These Results Mean for Your Case?
They show the kinds of cases we take all the way through, but they don't tell you what your case is worth. That depends on your injuries, how much insurance coverage is available, who was at fault, and what the evidence shows.
Two cases that look alike on paper can end very differently. A crash with a driver who carries Oklahoma's minimum $25,000 per-person liability policy and a crash involving a commercial carrier with a large policy leave very different room for recovery, even when the injuries are similar.
If you live in the metro, our Oklahoma City office page explains how we work toward results for Oklahoma City clients, from the first meeting through settlement. In northeast Oklahoma, call our Tulsa headquarters.
Common Questions About Our Case Results
Why don't these results name the client or the county?
Many clients want their settlement kept private, and some agreements require it. We describe what happened without details that could identify the people involved.
How is the attorney fee taken out of a settlement?
Our fee is a percentage of the recovery that you agree to in writing before we start. When a case resolves, the fee and case costs come out of the settlement, outstanding medical bills or liens are paid, and the rest goes to you. You see the full breakdown before you sign off.
What happens to medical liens when a case settles?
A lien is a legal claim a hospital or health insurer places on your settlement to get paid back for treatment. Liens are paid from the settlement before you receive your share, and we can ask lienholders to reduce what they're owed.
