Scott Carr specializes in catastrophic personal injury and products liability cases. Before joining Carr & Carr, Scott practiced for more than a decade at two of the biggest international law firms—Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Squire Patton Boggs LLP—where he represented some of the largest insurance companies and product manufacturers in the world in high-stakes, complex litigation. Using the skills developed representing corporate clients, Scott now dedicates his practice to helping real people who have been injured by the wrongful acts of others, whether that be due to an automobile accident, dangerous premises, or defective products.
Scott’s litigation philosophy is based on meticulous preparation, creative thinking, and the aggressive pursuit of his client’s interests. From the moment of the initial client consultation, Scott prepares each case for presentation as if it will go to trial, as he believes that this approach maximizes the compensation recovered for each client, whether through a pre-trial settlement or a jury verdict. Scott understands that his clients place a great amount of trust in him, and he takes that obligation with utmost sincerity and care.
Scott graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law and has a B.A. in History from the University of Oklahoma. After graduating from law school, Scott clerked for the Honorable Norman K. Moon, United States District Court, Western District of Virginia.
Scott has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers, 2013-2014. Scott is admitted both in California and Oklahoma.
