Lead Intake Assistant
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Intake Assistant to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for potential clients, you will play a crucial role in our firm’s success by gathering essential case information and providing compassionate support to individuals during difficult times. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a genuine desire to help others. You will work closely with our attorneys and legal team to ensure a smooth transition from initial contact to case acceptance.
Responsibilities
- Answer, screen and transfer incoming calls from a multi-line switchboard
- Conduct initial interview with potential clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings to become familiar with the case.
- Provide empathetic support to clients who may be experiencing physical pain and emotional distress.
- Perform administrative support tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Professional phone manner and client service orientation.
- Prior experience in customer service or administrative roles.
- Willingness to take initiative and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual capabilities (Spanish/English)
- Knowledge of personal injury law terminology and procedures.
