These beloved green spaces are Tulsa County Parks, maintained and operated by Tulsa County Parks & Recreation, a department dedicated to serving all residents of Tulsa County. To help clarify this important distinction, new signage is being installed across county parks, officially recognizing them as Tulsa County Parks and highlighting the county’s commitment to these vital community resources.

Carr & Carr Injury Attorneys Partners with OKC Relief Center to Collect Food for Oklahoma Families
(07/28/2026) Carr & Carr Injury Attorneys, a personal injury law firm serving Oklahomans since 1973, is holding a food drive to support families facing food insecurity across the Oklahoma City metro area. The campaign, running through the end of August, aims to collect non-perishable food items in partnership with the OKC Relief Center.
“At the heart of Carr & Carr lies a principle that we must exercise reasonable care toward one another,” added Michael Carr. “This food drive puts that principle into action. Every contribution matters. Every action counts. Together, we create safer, stronger communities.”
Oklahoma Food Insecurity
The initiative addresses a pressing need in Oklahoma, where 1 in 4 children currently faces food insecurity. Through this campaign, Carr & Carr extends its five-decade commitment to protecting and serving Oklahoma families beyond legal representation.

Carr & Carr Donate To Homeless Alliance
In 2019, Carr and Carr Attorneys partnered with the Homeless Alliance of Oklahoma City and Red Coyote Running to host the inaugural Fun Run to raise shoe donations and monetary donations for our homeless neighbors.
The need for help in our homeless community is greater than ever during the Coronavirus. Unfortunately, the Coronavirus also limits our ability to host a fun run this year while still practicing social distancing and protecting our team and the community.
This year we will adapt to the new circumstances and will donate $2,500 to help the Homeless Alliance buy the essential needs they have to operate. We also want to spread the word of need to our communities.
Immediate Needs
Hygiene packs: in a gallon-size Ziploc bag include soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste.
Summer packs: with the hot months upon us a summer pack is easy and inexpensive to put together: sunscreen, insect repellent, deodorant, chapstick.

Deliver your donations to the Resource Center lobby between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. It is located at 1729 N.W. 3rd Street (one block east of Penn on N.W. 3rd) in OKC.
Monetary Donations Help The Most
