Steel Furnace Explosion

Recently there was another steel furnace explosion which killed a few people and severely injured several others.  It is unclear whether the explosion was a result of mechanical or equipment, or human error.  Many times the negligence of a company or even a coworker can cause the injury of an unlucky employee.

Carr & Carr has a lot of experience in helping injured workers recover damages due to an on-the-job injury.  Steel factories, oil refineries, and heavy machine operations are all environments where safety is of the utmost importance.

Often poor training and inadequate safety procedures are at fault when someone gets hurt.  Or, especially at a factory or refinery, aging equipment has not been replaced or repaired to comply with modern safety standards.

Unfortunately we heard of other incident recently at a steel plant near Madill Oklahoma which resulted in the deaths of two workers due to a furnace explosion.
